letter to the 10 yr old me

I love the thought of time travel. it fascinates me, especially travelling along the course of my own life. i think it's got a lot to do with recognizing how much my life has changed - from what i expected as a 10- year-old to who I've become.

Inspire by soul pancake as i so often am, i wrote a letter to my 10 - year- old self.

Dear 10-year-old Me,

We turned 18 this year. I Know, right? i honestly don't feel like an adult. it feels like i m still a freshman in high school, but congrats you made it out alive. Let's start off with some spoilers. Harry potter will survive in the last part :p.
So girl, this is not another shitty letter where i'll be telling you to do this and that and your career and your future mistakes. NOOOO! I want you to make mistakes and learn from them . The reality is people mess up and they say," if you are not making MISTAKES, it means you are not trying hard" right.

You know how you love to play outdoors and explore the nature? Never stop doing that. people would say you're an introvert but no, you more than that. Don't let any labels to constrict you. Don't let anything to dull your sparkle. Open your mind to steer you on a lifelong quest to prove impossible is just a word. Be strong and stay humble and kind. Send my love to everyone, because i miss them a lot. I'll be always there for you.

the trick is to keep breathing. Always.

Heads up. eyes on the star.

love,

your 18 year old self
