I love Animated movies!!

Watching Pixar's Finding Dory may rekindle your love for animated movies. Or if you're like me, that love never died in the first place.

This weekend, I took a little trip down to a movie theater to see the movie finding dory. Did I feel ashamed when I started to tear up at another one of Pixar's animated masterpieces? Hell no.

As a college student, it might sound strange to be obsessed with a film meant for a younger audience. But then again, the Harry Potter books were written for children, so why can't I have this?


The simplicity of the story and characters that provide the warmth we all search for nowadays. Nothing else can make us laugh and cry simultaneously. The world depicted are vibrant, marvelous and lush. They remind us of childhood aka good old days.


And the morals hit far closer to home now than they did have as children. Need I remind you of the time that Andy had to move away to college and decided to give away his beloved toys? Or what about being able to identify with Nemo's need for independence as he grows up (and possibly even understanding Marlin's difficultly with accepting his son's growth, as our own parents have had to learn to accept) in Finding Nemo?
There's no denying that animated children's movies are awesome.  As we get older, we don't have to let go of the films that taught us how to be the people we are today. Wreck-It-Ralph reminds us that "there's no one I'd rather be than me”. And the me I'd much rather be is the one who loves animated movies just as much (if not more so) than when I was a kid.

So the next time if you saw me sobbing at another animated movie then don't judge. We don't need such negativity in our life ( teehee!)
